There is nothing like finding inspiration in your own community. Dr. Chris Frank and Volunteer Coordinator Chris O’Connor have taken the nationally-known panel discussion idea of Ted Talks and brought it to Providence Care.

Each month, Dr. Frank and a guest speaker discuss a variety of topics followed by a questions and answer period.

Guest speakers are often patients, staff and members of our community who bring their diverse insights. Recently, a patient shared his experiences after his stroke and how he was able to remain optimistic and motivated through a difficult time. Another patient and his daughter once shared his talent of making wooden boats in Gananoque. Dr. Frank has also shared his slides and stories of his trips to Africa.
