Please note: There is complimentary WiFi available throughout Providence Care Hospital. Patients and clients can connect to WiFi by selecting ‘PC_GUEST_WIFI’ in their network settings. Patients and clients must read the Acceptable Use Policy and click ‘Accept’.
General visitors are not permitted in the Home during the provincial shutdown. During this time, only one (1) identified designated Essential Caregiver and essential visitors (individual who has a loved one who is end-of-life or very ill) will be permitted to enter the Home.
One (1) identified designated Essential Caregiver and Essential Visitor are permitted to visit at any given time.
- Essential Caregivers: Designed by the resident or the SDM. They provide direct care to the resident and may include family members, a privately hired caregiver, etc.
- Essential Visitors: Individuals who have a loved one who is end-of-life or very ill.
All Essential Caregivers must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test done within the last seven (7) days and subsequently not have tested positive. A screen capture or print out of the online test result is sufficient.
