A collection of patient photography will be showcased in an upcoming exhibit at Queen’s University. The photographs on display were taken of and by patients who participated in Providence Care’s first Artist-in-Residence program, and were unveiled at a gala event held at Providence Care Hospital in November 2017.
Providence Care’s Artist-in-Residence program provides opportunities for patients to work with local artists to develop their skills and express themselves through the arts, and is made possible through generous donors to the Stella Corkey Endowment Fund – administered by the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF). Local artist Chris Miner was Providence Care’s first Artist-in-Residence from November 2016 to April 2017.
