Spiritual Care

Spiritual Health at Providence Care provides compassionate care to the whole person, realizing their needs are spiritual, emotional, physical and social.

Providence Care provides compassionate care to you and your care partners – and recognizes your needs are spiritual, emotional, physical and social. The Spiritual Health team supports each person, respecting their beliefs, values and traditions.

A conversation with our Spiritual Health team can help you and/or your family discuss many topics such as meaning and purpose in life; experiences of loss; uncertainties about changes in your life and relationships; fears, doubts and loneliness; and uncertainties about how your beliefs and values help you make choices about your care.

Should you wish to discuss religious and spiritual practices that are important to you, your Spiritual Health team will be happy to engage in that conversation. We will help you maintain these important connections to your faith.

For specific needs you might have, the Spiritual Health team can contact representatives of your religious denomination or faith group.

Please speak to your care team to arrange to meet with the Spiritual Health team.
