Therapy Pool
Located on Level 0 of Providence Care Hospital, the Therapy Pool is a heated, accessible space designed to support rehabilitation, recovery, and wellness. A wheelchair‑accessible ramp ensures safe and comfortable entry for everyone who uses the pool.
The therapy pool is used for inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, and community pay‑per‑use times. The Therapy Pool operates on a shared schedule.

Pay-Per-Use
The pay-per-use therapy pool is available to individuals 16-years of age and older. There is no formal class instruction. A qualified lifeguard is on duty and pool equipment is available for use.
- Cost:Â $4.00 per session
- Tickets:
- Before 4:00 p.m.: Cashiers Office (Level 1, beside Welcome Desk)
- After 4:00 p.m.: Reception Services (Main Lobby)
- Booking:
- Due to a high demand for pool time, it is necessary to call and reserve a space in advance.Â
- Call 613-544-4900 ext. 50321 to reserve space
- Max 2 sessions/week, bookable 3 weeks in advance
- Additional sessions may be booked by calling on that same day and filling any spots that remain.
Guidelines
- Ensure the pool attendant has an up-to-date contact phone number and email in the event of a last-minute pool closure.
- If unable to attend a reserved pool time, please notify the pool attendant to cancel in advance by calling 613-544-4900, ext. 50321.
- No person infected with a communicable disease or having open sores shall be allowed in the pool.
- Bring essential medications (e.g. asthma inhaler, nitroglycerin) to pool deck and inform lifeguard.
- All participants must be continent; incontinence products for everyday wear are not permitted in the pool.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian (16+), within arm’s reach
- Providence Care is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please bring a lock to use with lockers provided or keep valuables in sight on the pool deck.

- Enter via Main Entrance (Level 1)
- Take Main Elevator to Level 0
- Turn right, then left toward Therapy Pool & Heritage Wing
- Pool and change rooms are on the left
