Providence Transitional Care Centre’s Main Entrance is located at 340 Union Street. Paid parking is available on site.
The Main Entrance is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors can enter the hospital by using the intercom and a Protection Services officer will open the doors.
Food and Drinks
The Cafeteria will offer grab and go products such as sandwiches and muffins as well as hot and cold beverages. There are vending machines located in the Cafeteria serving a variety of cold drinks and snacks. The vending machines are accessible 24/7. There is also a microwave and water dispenser available.
Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Closed on weekends and statutory holidays.
Complimentary WiFi is available at Providence Transitional Care Centre. Due to the security requirements of our organization, you must login to access the WiFi. You can download instructions here.
For the safety and comfort of those with allergies and scent sensitivities, please do not wear scented products or bring scented flowers when you come to Providence Transitional Care Centre. Scented personal products include shampoos and conditioners, hairsprays, deodorants, colognes and aftershaves, perfumes and lotions. Local florists are able to suggest no-scent floral options.
Smoke and Vape Free
In accordance with the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property. This includes no smoking or vaping inside the building or on surrounding grounds. Smoking and vaping are also not permitted in parking lots or in personal vehicles on the property.
The Smoke-Free Ontario Act applies to all inpatients, visitors, volunteers and staff. The property is 100% smoke and vape free. Violations of the Smoke-Free Ontario Act could result in a $305 fine for individuals.
