Sandra Carlton
Sandra Carlton is Providence Care's Vice-President of Mission, Values & People. She is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and an experienced senior leader in academic health care settings.
Sandra joined Providence Care in 1997, and became Vice-President Human Resources and Organizational Development in 2003. She led the creation of a Learning and Leadership Services department at Providence Care, which now delivers specialized training to staff across the organization.
Sandra serves on several inter-hospital and province-wide committees and working groups, including the Human Resources Regional Network for the South East Local Health Integration Network, the Ontario Hospitals Association and the Council of Academic Hospitals of Ontario.
In 2010, Sandra became Vice-President Mission, Values & People, focusing on fostering a culture of trust, respect and compassion at Providence Care.
Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science degree, and a Business Administration-Human Resources Management diploma, as well as a Health Service Management Certificate for Senior Managers from the Canadian Healthcare Association. In 2012, Sandra completed the Advanced Health Leadership certificate program at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
